They slowly wear out over time and can also become damaged due to electrical issues, failed ignition coils, or a fuel-rich engine. Damaged plugs will cause misfiring or stalling and decrease your fuel efficiency. Our technicians will test your plugs and replace any worn or damaged ones. Brake Pad Replacement As mentioned above, worn pads can cause unnecessary damage to your Honda if they're not replaced. The pads fit into the brake calipers, and they have a friction material covering that slows and stops the wheel rotors. The material covering thins out over time, and the thinner covering increases your braking distance and decreases brake responsiveness. Worn brake pads produce a high-pitched screeching noise each time you apply the brakes. Replacing damaged pads is a quick process, and you'll feel an immediate improvement in braking effectiveness.
