Versatile Performance

The 2025 gets its nimble performance from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. It pairs with a CVT and front-wheel drive. The standard 3-mode drive system lets you toggle between ECON, Normal, and Snow modes.

Honda’s Realtime AWD with Intelligent Control is optional. It gives the HR-V better traction on snow, mud, sand, and other tricky road conditions. With standard hill start assist and hill descent control, you can tackle steep inclines and descents with confidence.

Flexible Interior

The 2025 HR-V may look compact from the outside, but it’s pretty roomy inside. You’ll get 41.9 inches of legroom in the front and 37.7 inches in the back. Both rows offer plenty of shoulder room and hip room.

The cargo area measures 24.5 cubic feet, which is enough to fit luggage for a small family. If you need more space, you can rearrange the cabin to make room. The second-row seats fold flat to increase the cargo volume to 55.1 cubic feet.

The entry-level LX grade comes standard with cloth seats, remote entry, push-button start, and an automatic climate control system with rear vents. Beverage holders are provided on both rows, and there are two USB charging ports behind the front center console.

Move up to the Sport model to get sports seats, heated front seats, remote engine start, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The EX-L gets leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an 8-way power driver’s seat. A wireless charger is available as well.

Smart Audio and Connectivity

The 2025 HR-V comes with either a 7-inch or 9-inch touchscreen display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, so you can sync your smartphone to the display and access mobile apps. SiriusXM and HD Radio are available if you need more entertainment options. There’s a 180-watt stereo system that comes with a choice of four, six, and eight speakers.

Honda Sensing Safety Suite

As you drive on and off the road, the HR-V keeps you safe with its suite of driver assistance features. Honda Sensing comes standard with a collision mitigation braking system, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, and lane-keeping assist. You also get adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, traffic jam assist, and auto high-beam headlights. A blind spot monitor with cross-traffic alert is available.
