Power and Performance

The Odyssey’s powerplant is a naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 engine putting out 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Combined with a smooth and engaging 10-speed automatic transmission, it promises strong acceleration and an engaging drive with its steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

With its finely tuned dual-pinion steering system, MacPherson strut front suspension, and compact multi-link rear suspension, the Odyssey is easily one of the best handling minivans on the market. Tri-zone climate control, heated front seats, and a 12-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support come as standard amenities.

Magic Slide second-row seats tilt and slide with a simple turn of the lever to enable easy access to the third row. In addition to being able to move from side to side, these seats can be folded flat and removed if you need to carry larger cargo items. The Odyssey leads its class when it comes to legroom with over 40 inches for the first and second rows and 38.1 inches for those seated in the third row.

Multimedia System

An 8-inch high-definition touchscreen infotainment system comes standard across the lineup and features support for smartphone integration, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, and HD Radio. During long road trips, passengers will appreciate the optional rear entertainment system, including a 10.2-inch screen, a Blu-Ray player, and the ability stream movies and TV shows.

The infotainment touchscreen can even display a view of the back seats with the available CabinWatch monitor.

Safety

A comprehensive host of driver assists has been included with every Odyssey. These include the Collision Mitigation Braking System, lane departure warnings, and a rear cross-traffic monitoring system. There’s also a traffic sign recognition system and driver attention monitoring.
